Design and display:
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE looks similar to the galaxy tab S7+ which is a flagship tablet. The body is made up of brushed aluminum for the both frame and back panel. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE looks and feels premium in the hand as it is made of metal. The design looks impressive and stylish at the same time. The body has flat sides which makes the tablet less slippery when it is in hand.
The back panel has some kind of matte finish which indeed takes the fingerprint smudges. The tablet is only 6.3 mm in thickness. But unfortunately, the phone is on the heavier side as it weighs 608 grams which could be a little problematic and uncomfortable. Moreover, the tablet is available in four colors which are Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, Mystic Green, and Mystic Pink. The overall design is incredible and feels premium too.
Moving towards the display, Samsung provides a TFT LCD with 12.4 inches display screen. The Samsung features 1600 x 2560 pixels in the S7 FE which is pretty decent for a tablet. Also, the tablet has a less refresh rate of 60 Hz so the switching between the apps, swiping and scrolling is slower. The brightness is also decent on the tablet.
Furthermore, you will get an S pen on the tablet. Unfortunately, the S pen is a passive one as a result you will not get any charging bed. But the S pen can take pretty decent notes and can be used greatly for graphics designing for sketches, coloring and all. You can also attach a keyboard to the display and work it as a laptop.
Performance and memory:
A mid-range chipset is provided on the S7 FE, unlike the previous model which had the flagship chipset engraved in it. The tablet S7 FE has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset. This is a very average chipset. The chipset would work great if it was on the smartphone but it may lag a bit while working on a big-screen device like a tablet. The gaming experience is not so fluent as the games can get stuck in between if you are playing it in the high graphics mode. Also, the multitasking performance is not so great here. The device may face some issues while multitasking. However, if you are a light user, the performance is pretty decent.
The thermal management is pretty impressive and it doesn’t get heated up while playing games or multitasking. Also, the galaxy S7 FE is 5G connectivity.
For the memory, 64GB 4GB RAM, and 128GB 6GB RAM are featured on the tablet. In case you want to increase the internal storage, there is a dedicated microSD slot card provided which can further extend your internal storage up to 1 TB.
Camera:
I am not a great fan of the camera of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE. The camera only has an 8 MP main sensor along with AF. The ultrawide sensor and even the LED flash are missing in the tablet. For the selfie 5 MP camera is given. Unfortunately, the camera cannot support the 4K video recording.
Battery:
A huge 10090 mAh battery capacity is provided in the tablet which will work for 9-12 hours on average. You can also get a 45 W fast charging which can charge your device from 0-100% in just 190 minutes. But the disappointing part is that only a 15 W charger is provided on the box so you will have to get a 45W charger separately.
