Redmi 11 Prime 5G Overview
Design and display:
The design of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is pretty nice. For the overall build, the frame is made up of polycarbonate with flat edges. Weighing about 200 grams the 11 prime is not so heavy but not so light at the same time. The color options for the 11 prime 5G are Thunder Black, Chrome Silver, and Meadow Green. The hard plastic is used on the rear side of the mobile phone which prevents smudges.
A dual camera setup is arranged in the rectangular box on the uppermost top side. The camera module further has the brand’s name (Redmi) in it. The smartphone has a side-mounted which is fast to unlock the phone. However, on the front side, Redmi has featured the same waterdrop notch.
Now, talking about the display, 6.58 inches display screen is provided. An IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate is featured by Redmi in this smartphone. Having a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, the Redmi 11 prime has a 20:9 aspect ratio along with an 83.6% screen-to-body ratio. However, an AMOLED display screen is not provided. Furthermore, the phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Performance and memory:
MediaTek Dimensity 700 with a 7 nm mobile platform is provided. The Android 12 along with MIUI skin is featured on the phone. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 runs pretty decently. Simple multitasking and basic games can be played on the Redmi 11 prime 5G. Games with greater resolution and greater graphics can lag in the device. But the basic games will run smoothly.
For the memory, 4GB/6GB of RAM is provided along with 64/128 GB internal storage. This memory is common in this price range. In case you have to upgrade your internal storage, a micro SD card slot is provided.
Camera:
A dual camera is provided on the rear side which is the main sensor and depth sensor. The mobile phone doesn’t even have an ultrawide sensor or macro sensor which is disappointing. The main sensor is 50 MP and the depth sensor is of 2 MP. Furthermore, the camera features an LED flash, panorama, and HDR which is not unique in this price range.
For the front camera, a 5 MP selfie camera is provided which is so disappointing in this price range.
