In this article, we will guide you on how to pay water/ Khanepani bills from eSewa.
Steps to pay water bill from eSewa
You simply need to create your eSewa account. After you have made your eSewa account, you can go further to pay your water/Khanepani bill. Follow these steps to pay the Khanepani bill through your eSewa account.
Step 1: First open the eSewa app and log in to your eSewa account.
Step 2: Tap on the “Khanepani” option from the menu listed on the screen.
Step 3: A new page will load showing two icons mentioning ‘Community Khanepani’ and ‘KUKL’. KUKL stands for Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited. KUKL is responsible for the operation and management of water and wastewater services in the Kathmandu Valley.
Step 4: If you use the Community Khanepani line then click on ‘Community Khanepani’. A new page will load where you have to select Khanepani counter and Customer ID.
But if you live inside Kathmandu valley, then go for the KUKL icon. A page will load where you have to select a branch and customer number.
Step 5: Then a page will load showing the amount you need to pay for the water bill. If you are OK to go on, click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step 6: Then after, a confirmation page will load showing all the details including the customer name, customer ID, Address, Area Code, and Due Amount. If all these are appropriate then click on the ‘Click’ button.
Step 7: At last, you have to enter the MPIN of your eSewa account and proceed ahead. Click on the ‘Finish’ option at the end.
This way you can pay your water/khanepani bill through eSewa which saves both your time and effort.
