There is no any direct delete account option in either mobile Khalti app or web dashboard of Khalti. You have to go through some procedures to delete your Khalti account permanently. It’s not a one-click procedure. You have to go through a series of steps to delete your Khalti account permanently.
The one who want to delete their Khalti account permanently, you have to send a mail to Khalti Digital Wallet.
- In the mail, you have to enter the Subject: Delete My Khalti Id i.e. your registered phone number while creating Khalti account.
- State the reason why you want to delete your Khalti account.
For reference – Dear Khalti, Since I have double Khalti account, do delete the account in the number mentioned to me.
- Send mail to mail address – ‘support@khalti.com’.
Now you will go through the process for Account Deletion and in 1/2 week your Account will be deleted. You will be informed in your phone number through SMS.
Can You Delete Your Personal Data from Khalti?
If you do not use your Khalti account anymore, you can uninstall the app easily from your mobile phone. However, the data which you have provided while creating your Khalti account won’t get deleted off easily from their system.
