Steps to create eSewa account

You can follow these steps to create and verify your eSewa Account:

Step 1: First, open Play Store in your mobile phone and install ‘eSewa’ app.

Step 2: After the installation, open eSewa app and click on ‘Login/Register’ and then click on
Register for Free’ for your registration.

Step 3: New page will load, fill up the registration form by adding your Mobile number, Name, and Gender and tap on ‘Proceed’ by verifying your Mobile number from a 6-digit verification code.

Step 4: Set the secure 4-digit MPIN to complete your eSewa Account Registration.

Step 5: Click on ‘Update’ on your Home Screen for completing the KYC form.

Or, you can also open by clicking on your profile image and then “My Information”.

Step 6: Now a new page will load for KYC verification. A form will open and fill out the details.

Step 7: Attach the document asked like Photo and ID’s. For ID you can keep like Citizenship or license or passport and also fill document information.

Some personal details required for KYC are :

  • Full Name
  • Father’s name
  • Grandfather’s name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Contact Number
  • Occupation
  • Permanent Address
  • Current Address
  • Document information

Documents required for KYC are as follows:

  1. Scanned photos of PP size.
  2. Both sides of Citizenship/passport/license.

Step 8: Click on the ‘Submit’ option and confirm your details after reviewing it to complete your KYC verification.

Note: You will receive KYC approval within 48 hours of filling out the form. But if you have any issues on KYC registration, you can contact with eSewa Customer Care. For that, go on three dotted lines in the top left corner of the page and tap on ‘Help’. You can then go on ‘Contact Us’ menu.
